An Exciting Year Ahead

Well, we are well into 2018 now and what a fantastic year we have ahead of us. With the Xmas tunes still jingling in our heads, we now move on to preparing for a very busy wedding and corporate season.

We are pleased to announce a couple of new venues this year:

Firstly you can now hold your wedding or conference at the fabulous Landrover BAR HQ in Old Portsmouth, this state of the art Waterside venue is a unique, bespoke, sustainable building which can hold 250 people on its flight deck overlooking the Solent. It has a great outdoor space for drinks and canapés and also lots of smaller rooms if you prefer an intimate affair or want to split into groups if you are having a meeting.

The Point in Eastleigh is another new venue for us which has a fabulous decking area over looking the park for reception drinks and your wedding breakfast can be served in the main theatre.

We will also be announcing a couple of other new venues too, we are just finalising details at the moment so watch this space.

Lee, our executive head chef, is busy designing menus with his team. As always, we use as much local produce as we are very proud to be a member of Hampshire Fare.

Sadly this spring we said goodby to a few team members, some headed off to travel the world other’s moved onto the next stage of their career.

Other staff news is Josh is now a Daddy, his son Hunter was born just after Xmas, we love a Vanilla baby!

Exciting news is we are working with a local company on a new website which is looking seriously cool, we are hoping to launch this end March/beg of April. I will tweet some sneaky previews of this as it develops.

We continue to be the sole caterers at The Port House in Port Solent, again a fabulous Waterside venue but also available to hire with a new day delegate package. The cafe/bar is open daily and we are now taking bookings for Mother’s Day on 11 March and we hold our next wedding Fayre their on 10 March, all are welcome to this.

We continue to raise money for our charity of the year, the Wessex Breast cancer trust, for every wedding or party we cater for we donate 30p per guest so the more guests you have the more we donate.

All sorts of other random things happening such as devising sausage based canapés for Hampshire sausage awards, and watch out for news of a pop up restaurant and at an outdoor festival.

So it’s all go in 2018 and hopefully you will follow the journey with us
